Texas Roadhouse Gift Cards for Veterans at Castle Point VA Hospital (Feb. 26, 2019)

The Texas Road House steak house asks its patrons to donate gift cards for veterans. Our post receives a portion of the donated gift cards for distribution. Today, Post 1758 members Don Burns, John Polasko, Caroline Pogge and Jim Reynolds went to Castle Point and passed on $300 of gift cards to patients there. Jim isn't shown because he took the photo.

Thanksgiving Meals for Vets (Nov. 2018)

Our Post donated Thanksgiving meals to two deserving Veteran Families.

The veterans were identified by Hudson River Housing and the meals were paid for at Hannaford's Supermarket in Wappinger Falls.

The family just has to select from a turkey or ham dinner and pick the precooked meal up.

Phone Cards for Troops (2005)

SFC Muncey was someone on active duty that one of our Post members knew, to whom our post sent a bunch of calling cards in 2005. He handed them out to his troops. Shown are just two of the recipients. Muncey (center) is actually holding onto a stack of cards.
