From the March 12 Membership Meeting
Venture Crew/Shooting Team: Girl competitors that were sponsored by Post 1758 placed 4th and 5th at the NYS-wide 5hooting competition held recently in Cicero, NY.

Post 1758 has enough youth shooters to renew registrations for the Venture Crew but with fewer members than last year. The Venture Crew (Shooting Team) collected food and donated it to the VA Hospital (Castle Point). The Shooting Team is participating in a National-level match at the Cicero, NY Post’s indoor range this coming weekend. Dan will be submitting a request for reimbursement for the cost of targets.

The shooting team is competing in the American Legion NY League. I'm Hopeful we have a team going to Cicero NY for the match.
I ordered six sets of targets from the National American Legion Postal Match to be shot this month.
This is Part I of the national competition, if anyone shoots really well they will go to Part II and compete against others.
