Evert “Sunny” Munning, Jr., 91, died on September 13, 2022 at the Putnam Ridge Skilled Nursing Center. Born in Brooklyn on September 9, 1931, he was the son of Evert and Anna Yolanda (Hermanson) Munning. Evert proudly served our country in the US Air Force, and had been employed as a data processor at Statistics for Management in White Plains. He had also worked as a bus driver for Chappaqua Transportation. Evert attended Calvary Chapel and Valley Christian Churches. He had also been a member of the Patterson Community Church where he served as an elder and in leadership, and was a part of the Bible study. He was a member of the Manny Bacon Post #1758, American Legion, and the East Fishkill Seniors. On December 5, 1953 at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL, Evert married his beloved wife, Catherine Mary “Teeny” Hills who predeceased him on November 29, 2016. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Patricia (Ron) Ristaino, Debi (Brian) Molfese, Edward Thomas (Kathy) Munning, Karen (Kevin) Raab; his grandchildren, Jeremy (fiancé Nancy) Hansmann, Justin (Jessica) Molfese; Krysta Rose (Andrew) Schaefer, Nicholas Munning, Jason (Chelsi) Munning, Rachel Munning, and Keith (Nicole) Raab ; his great-grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Skye Rose, Rohen, Ezrah, Haylee, Martina, Kaia, Megan, Brooke, Natalie, Paige, Spencer and Ava; and his sister, Alice Ryan. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also predeceased by his son, Gary Munning; and his sisters, Gladys and Gloria. The family would like to thank the staff of Putnam Ridge Nursing Center for their loving care of their father for the last two and a half years. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 2 from 12:30-2:30pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a celebration of Evert’s life beginning at 2:30pm. WAPPINGERS FALLS – Brian Michael Beigert, 54, an area resident since 1999, died after a brief illness on January 6, 2022 surrounded by his family at the Regional Hospice Center in Danbury, CT. He previously lived in Buchanan. Brian was born in Anchorage, AK on August 30, 1967. He graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School in 1985 and then proudly served in the US Air Force from 1987 – 1989. Brian had been employed by Verizon for many years. Brian will be remembered as an honest man who loved to help people in need, and would especially do anything for his loved ones. Brian is survived by his wife of 26 years, Heather (Smith) Beigert; his daughter, Elizabeth Beigert; his son, Jacob Beigert; his mother, Michelle Formica; his brother, Brett Beigert and his wife Marisol; his aunts and uncles, Melinda Rinzivillo, Pamela and Dave Szen, and Jed and Mary Rinzivillo; his mother-in-law, Judy Smith-Regalia and her husband Don; and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Stefany and Miguel Lopez and Nicole and George Hicks; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Brian was predeceased by his father, Jeffrey Beigert; and his grandmother who he affectionately called “Mema”, Grace Rinzivillo. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2-6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3pm at the Hopewell Reformed Church, 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by military honors.
